A cancellation fee will be charged for failed attendance. Please give the clinic at least four hours’ notice if you are unable to attend otherwise you will incur a $40.00 non attendance fee, this is not rebatable through medicare.. There is a very high demand for appointments, so notification if you are unable to attend is greatly appreciated as this gives other patients needing an appointment the opportunity to be seen on the day.
If you have any queries about our fees, please speak to your Doctor or our Practice Manager.
Please note that in order to provide adequate levels of nursing and medical care in our Treatment Room, a facility fee will be charged for all procedures. This is a $50.00 out of pocket fee and not medicare rebatable. If you wish to discuss this further please contact our practice manager or one of our nursing staff.
CLAIMING MEDICAL REBATES ONLINE
We are now able to claim your rebate from Medicare electronically for you and Medicare will pay it into your bank account within 24 hours. You need to register with Medicare first.
We can submit your medicare claim at the time of payment and the rebate will be directly deposited into your account by medicare. You will need an up to date medicare card and have your bank account details registered with medicare.
If this is not possible, we will provide you with an invoice and a claim for the rebate can be submitted by you directly.
WORKCOVER AND TRANSPORT ACCIDENT CLAIMS
Private fees are generally charged for ALL consults relating to TAC and WorkCover. Please take your receipt as evidence of payment for reimbursement. Although similar to Medicare rebates, processes for TAC and WorkCover reimbursements are different and even vary between Australian states and territories. Therefore, accounts are generally a matter between you as the patient and your employer, or between you and the TAC/ WorkCover insurer.
Not all of our doctors will see patients for Work Cover and Transport Accident Claims, for these appointments you will need to call and speak with one of our friendly reception staff.
